I feel exactly the same! For months and months i have been doing the same strength training 5-6 days a week. Recently, I have not been motivated at all and I started to dread my workouts. I really need to change things up and listen to my body instead of forcing myself to be in a schedule.

I don’t eat meat or dairy and eat a plant based diet and I’ve never been healthier. I am anaphylactic to to dairy.
My skin is so clear and my hair is growing fast and I just feel great. My doctors have even noticed changes

I love how your relationship with food has changed. It helps myself a lot, as I often struggle with restriction. Also watching your videos motivates me to go to the gym again haha

Omg that is so weird I feel the EXACT same way!! I used to be super obsessive about food like you, and I have definitly rejected that mindset. But, I find that I feel better eating more nutritious food, and I’m almost kind of scared to try to eat “healthier” because I don’t want to get back into that toxic cycle.

A typical and completely normal cycle: restrict and eat strictly for gaining muscle, recover from that bc it sucks to do for a long time and eat a bunchhhhh of food you missed and enjoy not feeling so obsessed with numbers (this step is fun but obviously it will catch up how you feel but it is necessary I think) and THEN finding balance in Whole Foods and healthy meals BECAUSE you really want to. I’m in that phase to, but a litttttle but still enjoying some foods I didn’t eat for 2 months. I do this cycle so much so that’s probably not good but it keeps me grateful for food lol

I also wholeheartedly love and crave wholefoods everyday, and as someone studying nutrition & dietetics, I often hesitate to share that in social settings because I'm afraid it would come across as somewhat 'restrictive' 😐

Absolutely 🙌 you can still have a healthy relationship with food and cut things out of your diet because you know what’s best for your body. Just never restrict yourself when you really want something because your body is asking for it, but you know all that haha!

omggg thank you! i feel like there’s this pressure that women need to lift weights. i see all these women lifting weights and saying “weights don’t make women bulky” which is honestly not necessary true for some women including myself. i have been strength training only 2-3x a week and started feel insecure about the way i look since i gain muscle incredibly easily and i started looking like a muscular man which isn’t what i want to look like. i felt like i was forcing myself to lift weights because i saw other women doing it. i have taken a break from strength training and am trying new workouts that incorporate higher reps and lower weights like barre and pilates (it is honestly a lot harder than people think, i always get an insane burn), and i honestly love it so much more. i honestly still feel guilty that i don’t lift weights anymore. this just goes to show that lifting weights doesn’t work for all women and we should do workouts that work for ourselves rather than doing what we think we should be doing.

I get so so happy seeing other people healing their relationship with food!
Right now I am in a very peaceful state of mind in terms of my own relationship with food and Soph, you have played a major role to it. Thank you so much from the depths of my heart. I wish the best to everyone who is still struggling!
