Today I’m sharing the simple healthy eating habits that I use every day. These are the eating habits I use to stay healthy. I don’t prescribe to a diet to be healthy or lose weight because I think it’s restrictive and isn’t something that is easy to stick to. I’m OK eating fats, sugars, and calories, but it’s just about doing it in a healthier way. So, these healthy eating habits are something you can easily adopt in your everyday eating.

IMPORTANT: I want to note this isn’t all about weight loss. I’m not saying I was overweight before at all. But, I wasn’t eating healthy or nourishing my body. I ate unhealthy portions and unhealthy foods. While adopting these healthy eating habits helped me lose weight, it worked because I am eating GOOD foods, finding healthy alternatives, and eating the right sized portions.

Great tips! To quell my craving for something crunchy, I eat raw veggies – faves are sugar snap peas and red peppers. If needed, add a scoop of hummus. Can't beat it!

I diet for 2 weeks, every now and then, when I get a cold sore on my tongue. It hurts and it's scary to eat.

WOW 😳😲😊😀🤔 Kallie pre – children! Ok, not that any tips you made are no longer useful, but how many do you still follow today? Now with two little ones and a busy happy YT career? I like this, because it is simple to achieve, makes sense and I have been using the 8" or dessert plates (paper, mostly) for years!!!.

Good thing you found a way for you, and I think they are good tips.
I can't have any sugar, I gain weight immediately. That includes bread, rice and fruit.
Fat is alright (and necessary) but I have to stay away from cream too, the milk sugar effect me.
I do wonder about the size of the plates. I've seen quite a few say that the US plates are larger than the European ones.
A very good tip about the little processed foods! We need more of that! 😁

I think i picked up this tip from the author of "How Not To Die" … look at the nutrition label on pkg food and divide the grams of fiber into the amt of carbs and if it's over the number 5 dont eat it, it will spike your blood sugar & turn into fat. Reading labels now sure has been an eye opener.

Weighing your food is a great way to keep track of how much you're really eating! It's easy, too. The more you do it, the easier it becomes. 🙂

I am not sure why I just found this video. Probably because this is when I need it. I have been on a very restrictive diet that is not sustainable for me. Bless you!!

I’ve noticed that I love yogurt and smoothies, but not the yogurt you buy in a cup at the market. I get the plain and add defrosted (overnight in the fridge) fruit and maybe a little Splenda. I also freeze the yogurt in ice cube trays for my smoothies to make them richer. Since besides frozen veggies in my freezer I keep a variety of single fruits in the freezer for the yogurt and smoothies. Also I am not trying to cut all fat out since healthy fat is good for you I buy only 2% Greek yogurt

Salad plate trick is one I’ve used with success too. Also, drinking a glass of water before a meal starts to make my body feel full quicker where I don’t eat until I feel full and then 20 minutes after eating feeling stuffed.
