Recently I have had lots of requests and questions about being vegetarian and so today I thought I would sit down and share some of my own advice and experience about being veggie as I’ve not eaten meat or fish since I was around 14. My husband Adam is also vegetarian and we are raising our two little boys as veggies too until they’re old enough to make their own choice.

This video isn’t to persuade you to go veggie, that’s your choice. I simply wanted to share some advice for anyone who is interested in eating less meat/transiting to vegetarian. 🙂

Thank you for watching. ♡

Hi I’m Alex! I started writing a blog back in 2013 as a way to capture my thoughts, feelings and emotions as I married my childhood sweetheart and we had our first child. I’m now a Mum of two little boys (Ethan & Logan) and I’ve continued writing, photographing and videoing ever since as a way to remember all of the little details that make up this amazing journey of Motherhood.

I am a part of Channel Mum, a community of super friendly, real Mums on YouTube who like to share the honest face of parenting. You can catch up with our videos and find out what we’re all about over at

If any person wants to be vegetarian you should try indian food, because there will lot of variety in vegetarian food. My favourite is curry and rice and no it's not the curry you thinking. Its a sindhi curry, its made from chickpea flour which the sauce is made and you can add your favourite veggies in the sauce and have it with rice its delicious

I went vegetarian 2-3 months ago, but after a while I was craving meat. I do not like the feeling of that because every time I eat meat, I want to throw up, or faint, or cry. I have been giving into the craving because I think that my body might need it a lot. I am a preteen and in a stage where I need to eat healthy.😋

I’m going to go vegetarian, but I have no interest in treating it like a religion. Cheese is okay by me with or without the V. To me anyone bothered with that has too much time on their hands.

The best tip I can give is to track your macros! It’s very easy to under eat while still learning how to navigate a different way of nourishing your body and you likely are not eating enough.

My family don't think I'm going to be veggie for long but what they keep ignoring is that meat makes me feel sick so this is helpful

It will definitely be quite a journey for me, but for a few days I have unconsciously eaten no meat at all, just some seafood. Ad I feel so much better and healthier. I don’t think I will be able to immediately stop eating meat and fish products, but I want to try my best and I think I will start trying it right now, with the exception of the things like sweets and stuff I already bought 🙂 Let’s see, maybe I will succeed, maybe I won’t 🙂 Thank you though, I feel way better prepared now for the journey 😀

Just go straight up vegan. Dairy industry is the meat industry. Slow transition is worse, akin to raping and murdering just a bit less often. Theres so many vegan alternatives now. No excuses. Cows dont wanna be " just a little bit dead" so you can eat cheese
