The phrase muscle weight more than fat is comparing weight to weight, its comparing weight to volume… it's not false. If you could take a cup of fat and a cup of muscle, the muscle would weigh more due to its density.

"I think" – it's very good habit but this is not argument. "Can", "could", "may" – sounds very convincing. Nothing personally but plenty of gyms full of this kind of experts…

I hate it when people say muscle doesn't weigh more than fat and then they describe why muscle does weigh more than fat. If I have a box full of muscle and another identical box full of fat, the box full of muscle will be heavier.

I've got to disagree with the part at 6:30 . Himalayan salt is for the most part just regular salt (NaCl), and it contains only traces of other minerals, where iron is the main component giving the pinkish color.
A friend of mine, who actually has a degree, told me that the best way to reintegrate electrolites is by diluting gatorade or similar drinks 1:1. Those drinks have all the minerals that we need, but they are isotonic, whereas our body prefers ipotonic beverages.

Take these videos with a grain of salt. While informative, they might also be dangerous because the professionals don't want to go all in with their words and wash their hands all the time on their statements – this fuels lazy and fat people into thinking exercise is not worth it. I feel like they don't emphasize nearly enough on the importance of exercising.

You actually can spot reduce. But not by exercise, you can do it through fat freezing. I used it on my stomach and got a flatter stomach, bigger boobs and butt (also slightly bigger arms and my face was also a tiiiiiny bit more chubby)

if running as a cardio exercise aint burning my fat then wtf is? 😭😭

  • Heide Carrion

    Posted July 15, 2021 3:29 am

Actually, working out in a fasted state will burn more fat at the moment but not post exercise. It's also not a good idea for weight training because you need fuel to build and keep muscle regardless of whether or not you want to lose fat. I never do fasted cardio anymore because I want to build and maintain muscle. Also, some people have a harder time training well fasted because they lack energy. They train harder with fuel. I say just do what works best for you and your goals.

Myth 6: No shit genius, a pound is a pound. What they are saying is that, by volume, muscle weighs more than fat. Which is true.

So their advice is to find something that you enjoy. But certainly finding something that you enjoy doesn't cut it. For example, I love football. But if I were to only play football my strength, agility, speed will not necessarily increase from the action of just kicking the ball around.

Well I have to tell you one thing. It's my experience. I wasn't doing any specific nutrition at the age of 14, 15 and 16… Was exercising 2 hours a day a continuos stretch from 6-8 pm. My Indian diet at home was having 3 pieces of wheat bread and some greens. Rice and veggies in the afternoon, Rice/ wheat and again veggies in the evening. Snacks would be rare but at times have some biscuits, that's it. No sufficient knowledge only that we've seen Arnold in the terminator movie and how good he looks and we want to look like him and we're working out. What happened by the above regime was that I was the strongest student on class. Could defeat any fatty powerful student in arm wrestling, yes we thought that the power in arm wrestling lies in the bicep rather than the tricep… Anyway I won, the peak in my bicep was so good that it just looked like a miniature Arnold bicep… It was measuring around 11 and a half inches lol…. Veins started popping on the bicep, shoulders and chest area only when there was good pump. The dumbells used for exercise were 10 pounds each. All three years with 10 pounds of dumbells. No bench, barbells or nothing…. Here was my exercise routine… Biceps, standing bicep curls, preacher curls using pillow, concentration curls, hammer curls. Then starting with the tricep standing over head extension using dumbells, same by laying on the floor and a few more whilose names are not known to me.. abdominal crunches by laying flat on the floor. Hanging leg raise. Pull-ups for the back etc, leg extensions by a weird kind of position using dumbells and calf raises and squats .. Hamstring not worked out. one exercise for forearms. All the above exercises in 2 hours straight 365 days with discipline… The result was a well developed chest and biceps. Abs we're showing if I flex it tight. This was 16 years ago… Stopped it all after realising how muscles actually frow and how to workout. Joined a gym after knowing the basics and gained good mass in the body. Maintained a healthy weight of 62kilos at a height of 5'6". Nutrition could not be done sufficiently… Left the gym from the past 14 years… Now at 86 kg eating unhealthy stuff most times and being obese. All it takes is dedication of an hour to not ruin your health ….

Remember people: Eating an extra Pizza late for a movienight will add you another 1000-1500 kcal, depending on the size and whats on it. Do undo 1000 kcal you need like 2+ houres of extrem hard weight training or some long term cardio. You ride a bike but more like chilling, not quick? Taks you 3-5 houres to lose 1000-1500 kcal. A Pizza you ate in 15 minutes will result into houres of work to do. Now add on EVERY "Pizza" or "Snack" you ate too much over the last few years. And people belive they will lose ALL THAT in just a couple weeks?
