NOTE: I recommend magnesium citrate powder to be used in supplement doses and not laxative doses, which are much higher.

300 mg to 400 mg is the recommended dose. I like to use this brand:

https://well.ca/products/natural-calm-magnesium-citrate_78984.html

Laxative use of magnesium citrate involves much higher doses which I am not suggesting in this video.

Ok Ria, I am kind of confused here. In the video you suggest Magnesium Citrate but that most definitely is a laxative. Personally I think it is a definitely harsh laxative as it cleans you out. We recommend this product prior to having a colonoscopy.

I've been trying all of these simple tricks for many many years now. Still being constipated. I've always had this problem since I was a child. Nothing seems to help, not even laxatives. There is only one laxative product that helps but I'm tired on depending on it. Doctors did tests and told me everything is fine. I have no food intolerances. I drink 3 to 4 litres of water a day, barely sit and move around a lot. My diet ist full of fibre, mostly plant-based and it used to be low-fat but I'm changing this up right now. Still no improvement. The only times when I can really go to the toilet and release my gut is when I'm deadly scared about something (e.g. an oral exam that I feel I will fail and embarrass myself, then right before it I will probably need a toilet.): But what now? I can`t keep myself in permanent psychic horror just to be able to release my colon…

I have guts problem I don't know what it is, I have been to the doctor, washed my intestines, done surgeries, tried different foods( recommended), a lot of water, meditation…Everything recommended..I wish I knew my problem! till then I'm sticking to laxatives like I've been doing for the past 2 years! My constipation Is bad that I deal with hemorrhoids and piles! I know there is side effects to laxatives but better than dealing with constipation! Don't mean to be negative just looking for help.

Oatmeal daily in the morning. It's a life saver. It works for me and when I run out I just say away from Bready things and just incorporate some fruits and veggie daily.

Sheet dhara  herbal syrup is prepared from ingredients such as ajwain satav, mushak kapoor, peppermint, etc. This syrup naturally relieve the symptoms like bloating, blenching, nausea, vomiting, feeling of discomfort, etc. The regular use of this herbal syrup neutralizes the high acid content, reduces abdominal pain, & cramps.

About 6 months ago I started taking the pill for my skin. About 3 months in I started to become extremely constipated and bloated. Just recently I decided to stop taking the pill to see if it really was causing my discomfort. The next day and for about a week later I had no problem with constipation! But….for the past few days I would say I have reverted back to almost how I was when I was taking the pill. I am so confused. I drink almost 2L of water a day, have tried using psyllium husk, eat chia seeds everyday and eat oats in the morning (apparently it helps with relieveing constipation). BUT NOTHING IS WORKING!! Please help me and give me advice!! About the time I started to get constipated when using the pill I also moved countries (from Australia to Wales), and I am wondeirng if the different environment is playing a role in my digestion issues. Is this possible? Also, could coming off of the pill be a contributing factor as my hormones are trying to revert back to their normal state? Please reply!!!! Before going on the pill my digestion was amazing!!! I never got bloated and never was constipated.
