    What if I feel nauseous? I don’t really lean towards being in any particular state, but I came home from work, fell asleep for most of the day because I was exhausted, woke up and decided to workout. Felt like throwing up after doing pull-ups. Only had breakfast.

    I have been working out on an empty stomach for years I have a cup of coffee and then I do 40 -50 mins of cardio high intensity and free weights full body work out and stretching . The times I have had a light snack I felt so bloated or like throwing up.

    Believe it or not before i go to track and field practice, i dont eat 3-4 hours before the sprints. i feel so much better sprinting on an empty stomach. It just works for me!!

    Not a crazy workout person but I'll drink a small cup of coffee then walk for a half hour. Then eat. Then walk another half hour. I mix that in with healthy eating and I lost 12 pounds in 19 days.

    I've heard that it encourages you body to build MORE fat when you train fasted because you are burning you "stored up fats" so to adjust for this the body naturally starts to increase your stored fat

    Are there any differences in the types of training?( cardio or weights ) . Should I do metcons while fasting?( my performance really drops when I’m hungry)

    I workout 2 times a day in the morning I workout fasted and in the evening I workout fed. So i am asking that should I work on large muscle group or smaller muscle group?

    to your first argument, you might be wrong here.
    I can also give you 1 liter of vodka before a workout to get you drunk as hell, that would make your workout harder, thats a good thing right? i dont think so.
    You dont want to make your workout difficult for the sake of being difficult, what you want is volume.
    Making it more difficult but reducing volume doesnt mean your muscles are getting stronger, it means you're being sabotaged.

    yup i feel weaker and slower during my workiout in a 22hr fast BUT i do gain more muscle when i do push myself those few extra reps. also if i take my energetic elixer before a workout which has 1 tbsp of cacao ,1.5 cups of black dark roast coffee,1 tbsp of maca, and a few drops of beet extract before my workout.i noticed my workout increases 10 fold but i only drink it if i dont feel like working out so it gets me to work out lol…. i should drink it before every workout because it dosent break a fast but it gets a little expensive for me lol.

    I drink 25 drops of food grade H2O2 in my water bottle and work out fasted, amazing results and a huge rush of oxygen. I only work out fasted now, abs are much more enjoyable in a fasted state.

    I've train while fasted. Only drink green tea during/ before/ after.
    While exercising I don't feel weak or hungry at all. Instead I feel stronger and have more energy than I used to.

    I just hate it when uneducated people constantly say you need to eat 5.meals a day,but small portions,and I always smile at them, while on a 18 hour fast.

    What is a good meal to eat after the fasted workout? Can I just have my normal breakfast of eggs/oatmeal/apple/protein shake? Or should I go right to a lunch meal?

    Point 1: If it felt easier to train fed, wouldn't a person have the freedom to add extra weight and get a better workout, rather than be limited by a lower difficulty ceiling??

    I lifted fasted for three years, and I got shredded but downsized a lot.
    I am now lifting during my first window between the first meal after breaking the fast for about two months, and I already can see the difference. I guess that Thomas is endo/mesomorph, and I'm an ectomorph.
    Ps. I tried in both scenarios, on keto, and off ketogenic diet.

    In my opinion, fasted workouts are good if you’re more into fat loss, whereas fed workouts if you’re more into muscle building

    Point number 1 is misguided and nonsensical. Would working out on an empty stomach make it more difficult? Probably. However, you could also make the workout more difficult by, idk.. adding more weight? Doing more reps? Finding ways to increase the range of motion on your lifts? All of these would enable you to progressively overload far better than not eating would, and it also makes it more likely that you would get the most from you workouts.

    If you enjoy working out fasted or it fits your schedule better, I get it. I do from time to time as well, but use some common sense here. It isn't just about perception – if you're able to lift 10 more pounds after a meal than you are when you're fasted, then you have done yourself a disservice by working out fasted. You would've been better off just increasing the weight.
