1. Asparagus
Asparagus has numerous health benefits for everyone. It has the highest antioxidant content among vegetables. Its benefits go beyond that, especially for women.     Good video! The only thing I don‘t agree with is yoghurt – I don‘t believe in dairy products. Missing in the video in my opinion are oats, millet, hemp- and pumpkinseeds.

    OK, so I'm a physical therapist with a strong 20 year study in nutrition. I hate videos like this. Completely irresponsible! They always so "do this EVERY day" when it is REALLY bad to do some healthy things every single day!
    So here is the real deal on these foods y'all.
    Asparagus contains uric acid and ir REALLY hard on your kidneys if you are not a healthy young person. Asparagus, besides its health benefits, makes your kidneys work extra hard to make a ton more pee to filter out all that extra uric acid out of your blood stream. It builds up in your muscles and sequesters in your kidneys if you take in too much which over time will over work and damage your kidneys and make you feel constantly sore in your muscles. You should not eat Asparagus more than twice a week.
    Yes 2 ounces of real dark chocolate is totally safe to eat every day 🙂 however!!! A lot of chocolate companies in the USA have recently tested by Consumer Reports which found super high levels in Lead, Arsenic, and Cadmium! All toxic heavy metals from bad farming practices that build up in your brain! The WORST offender was Ghirardelli, the brand we all think of as the "best" but almost all the top brands were super high in all three. The FDA doesn't regulate heavy metals in chocolate so they are free to sell you contaminated chocolate and not tell you they have toxins in them. Lindt chocolate and Endangered Species chocolate tested totally CLEAN and safe!
    Berries are amazing powerhouses for nutrition, especially blueberries. But this is a case where too much of a good thing DEFINITELY becomes a bad thing! Especially for folks over 40. All berries contain blood thinning compounds that make your platelets not able to stick to each other. In small amounts this is great! It keeps your heart healthy and helps keep major clotting away out of your legs and other problem areas…. BUT if you eat them every single day that anti clotting factor compounds into blood that is so thin it leaks right out of your blood vessels and causes bruising and weakens your vein walls so you are at a higher risk of aneurysms! Berries should be enjoyed 3 days a week, with a day break in-between to recover from their blood thinning effects.
    Garlic is another offender of thinning blood. If you consume fresh garlic in your meals every day then you also get a blood thinning effect but from a different way than Berries, so the thinning effect actually STACKS if you are eating them both. It is lighter than the Berries but it's still strong enough to be a problem if used every single day. On top of that. Fresh garlic is a super strong antibacterial agent. Would you take an antibiotic every single day?? No. Because it kills both the bad AND the good bacteria. This is another superfood best used 2-3 times per week so you have recovery time.
    Flax and sweet potatoes are totally safe to eat every day with the caviot that they both are also super heavy metal absorbers for Lead, Arsenic, and Cadmium. So if you are going to eat them every day, buy an organic brand and try to look at country of origin because some country's "organic" produce still tests super high in heavy metals! Garbanzo beans have the same heavy metals issue.
    OK, now dark green leafy veggies are one of the biggest common denominators consumed by the healthiest and longest living people in the world in every "Blue Zone". However they don't eat them raw in salads, they usually stirfry cook them. RAW Cruciferous vegetables have inflammatory enzymes that are destroyed by heat and leave behind the good anti-inflammatory properties they also contain. Plus, they contain a compound I'm totally certain I am going to misspell lol called anti-goiteragenic?? Anyway, that chemical blocks your Thyroid from taking in Iodine. The thing that makes your Thyroid work. Eating raw Cruciferous vegetables slows down your Thyroid making your metabolism slow down and makes you gain weight along with a host of other slow Thyroid problems! So eating COOKED Cruciferous veggies every day is super good!!! But it is actually dangerous to eat raw Cruciferous vegetables every day. People in recent years have died from their Thyroid shutting down from over eating raw Cruciferous vegetables every day, thinking they were healthy!
    So you see folks, there is a lot more to every food that just it's good or its bad properties. Typically, nothing is good to do or eat every single day. Too much of any good thing can become a bad thing especially when we don't know there is a bad side to our favorite good thing!
